I just recently uploaded a video to Google Video, Youtube and MySpace. All three blocked the video. Their reason? Copyright infringement by an artist in their database. The video was a home video of my daughter Jessica walking around the Imagination Station in Luray, Va. about 2 years after our accident. I video taped that for her to show later on down the road to show her progress. Before the accident, her two favorite songs was “Just a Little Bit” by GinaG and “Baby Likes to Rock It” by an unamed band. They are the ones on the list that had my videos blocked. By the way the unamed band (you know who you are), you have that cd back that I bought and used in my OWN homevideo that is private that I made public for the world to see for NO PROFIT!!!! The reasons those songs are on the video is like I said, they were here favorites. Before the accident, Jessica, Courtney would make me play those songs over and over and over and we would dance and dance an dance all day to them. I know that someone can doanload the video, strip the audio and use it, but who is going to download a 75 mb video just for a song? What I should had done was by the LP version of the song, convert it then used it in the video. Then nothing could’ve been said. I thank Google Video, Youtube and MySpace for their services, but what about all those people the upload tv shows? Or Sports games? Technically, the are being “reaired”. Think about it. By the way, if you haven’t figures it out, the band is “The Tractors“.
